Hofstra University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the American Chemical Society, the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, the American Psychological Association, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business: All business and accounting programs (with an additional accreditation in accounting), the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the American Art Therapy Association, the Council on Rehabilitation Education, the American Bar Association, the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications, the National Association of School Psychologists, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc., the American Association of Museums, the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
