BIO 205 - Marine MicrobiologySemester Hours: 3 Spring This course concerns morphology, physiology, ecology and distribution of marine and estuarine bacteria, algae, fungi, protozoa and other planktonic organisms. Biological corrosion, pollution, pathogenicity and economic significance of marine microorganisms will also be considered. Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Undergraduate courses in microbiology, cell biology or biochemistry, or permission of instructor.
