FDED 242 - Foundational Perspectives in Multicultural Education

Semester Hours: 3
This course introduces educators to the four foundational perspectives in multicultural education: Antiracism, Critical Theory/Postmodernism, Ethnic Studies, and Liberal Democratic Theory. Through an analysis of each foundational perspective, students will develop an understanding of how educational institutions can respond to the distinct challenges emerging with the multicultural condition.
