HIST 177 - Special Studies in History: Hofstra in Greece

The purpose of this course is to look at modern Greece since its Independence (1832) and ascertain its national identity, the evolution of its democratic institutions, and its role as a major power in the Balkans. See page 12 for more information on Study Abroad programs.
