ENGL 138 - American Literary Naturalism

The philosophical premises, major themes, and significance of race, gender, and time in American literary naturalism. Writers include Crane, Norris, Dreiser, Wharton, London, Wright and others.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
WSC 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the Writing Proficiency Exam requirement.
