ENGL 144 - American Literature II

A study of the development of American literature from Whitman to the early moderns. The course includes the works of writers such as Crane, Dickinson, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Wright.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
WSC 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the Writing Proficiency Exam requirement. Credit given for this course or ENGL 52, not both.
