CGS 10 - (IS) Introduction to Cognitive Science

Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
An introduction to cognitive science – the interdisciplinary study of the mind. This course is designed to immerse the student in three problems in cognitive science from three diverse areas (e.g., psychology, philosophy and computer science). It will equip students with the rudiments of research methodology for the respective disciplines and familiarize students with the interdisciplinary character of cognitive science research.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
At least one course in philosophy, psychology, computer science, linguistics, or speech-language-hearing sciences is recommended.
