CAT 226 - The Art Therapist’s Identity in a Clinical SettingSemester Hours: 1.5 This course explores an art therapist’s identity and role in the mental-health setting. Students will increase self-knowledge, through exploration of both familiar and new media, in order to obtain a clearer view of themselves in the field. Experientials and readings address clinical issues using a variety of media techniques. Ethical issues for the art therapist will be incorporated into course discussions.
