SPED 245I - Teaching Diverse 21st Century Learners in Inclusive Settings: An International Perspective


Semester Hours: 4
Spring
This course offers an international perspective to curriculum methods in order to prepare educators with the essential tools for planning and implementing curriculum and instructional approaches that meet the educational needs of diverse students worldwide. Participants learn how to incorporate the components of 21st-century literacies, STEM instruction, technology and assistive technology applications, as well as universal design for learning into the general education classroom context.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Special Education: International Perspectives (non certification), MSEd  students only.
