MUS 110 - Advanced Choral Conducting

Semester Hours: 2
Fall
Students will explore the many challenges of conducting and leading a choir through specifically targeted exercises and study of representative musical scores. The course combines many disciplines within the field of music, incorporating elements of ear training, music theory, formal analysis, practice technique, and performance.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MUS 108  or equivalent. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. No liberal arts credit.
