Students must complete a minimum of 145 semester hours: a minimum of 115 semester hours toward their undergraduate degree and 30 semester hours of graduate work toward the M.S. in Finance. A sample schedule for the combined degree is available from either the Mathematics Department or Zarb School of Business.
Students admitted to this dual-degree program will receive a B.S. in Mathematics upon completion of the following requirements:
- The complete Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences described in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences section of this Bulletin: 55 semester hours in liberal arts courses other than mathematics.
- The specific major requirements for the B.S. Major in Mathematics (with MATH 137 used as three of the 12 required advanced undergraduate electives s.h. numbered above 100 and MATH 138 used for the 138/146/172/173 requirement) as listed below:
