Minor in Religious Studies

Minor in Religious Studies is an interdisciplinary program dealing with the nature of religion and its scholarly study. The minor consists of 18 semester hours chosen from among the courses listed below, at least six hours of which must be from among the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies offerings. At least six credits must be taken in residence. The minor in religious studies should be planned with an adviser in order to adapt it to the needs, abilities and preferences of the individual student. Students who contemplate graduate study in religion or professional study in seminary or Rabbinical school after graduation, are especially encouraged to consult with the program adviser early in their undergraduate careers.
