Pre-professional Studies


Premedical/Prehealth Studies Program

The Premedical/Prehealth Studies Program at Hofstra prepares students for graduate-level and doctoral-level work in health professions programs, including occupational therapy, audiology, physical therapy, medicine, nursing, physician assistant studies, dentistry, osteopathy, podiatry, veterinary medicine, and optometry. Generally, health profession schools seek students with a broad educational background, a strong foundation in the natural sciences, highly developed communication skills, and a solid background in the social sciences and humanities For more information, call Dr. Ellen C. Prelaw Program

The Prelaw Program at Hofstra is designed to provide students with the background and training needed for admission to law school.
