Bachelor of Arts in fields of specialization in the humanities, fine arts, communications, education, natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, engineering and social sciences, etc., with courses offered to provide a pre-professional and professional background in law, medicine, health, education, etc.; Bachelor of Fine Arts with specialization in theater arts; Bachelor of Business Administration with specializations in accounting, finance, international business, entrepreneurship, business computer information systems, legal studies in business, management, marketing, etc.; Combined degree programs B.B.A./M.S. and B.A./J.D; Bachelor of Engineering with specializations in engineering sciences; Bachelor of Science in scientific-technical programs and programs in business economics, fine arts, mathematics, computers, music, communications, athletic training, exercise specialist, physician assistant, etc.; Bachelor of Science in Education, in specializations in fine arts, music, physical education. Hofstra is a selective institution seeking to enroll those students who demonstrate the academic ability, intellectual curiosity, and motivation to succeed, and contribute to the campus community. Hofstra enrolled almost 2,500 new students of whom 1,743 are first-time undergraduates in 2004-2005.

The Campus

A recognized member of the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta with 113 buildings on 240 acres. Thirty seven residence halls accommodate approximately 4,200 students. Hofstra is 100 percent program accessible to persons with disabilities.
