LAW 3831 - Family Law This survey course is a study of state intervention in family relationships. The teacher may select topics from among the following: informal and nontraditional familial relationships, control of reproduction and current reproductive technology, antenuptial and separation agreements, adoption, termination of parental rights, divorce, property distribution, child custody, spousal and child support, paternity proceedings, and the role of the lawyer as counselor.
