HIST 009 A-Z - Special Topics in Historical ResearchSemester Hours: 1 Periodically
These courses will serve as intensive introductions to the skills required for successful study and research in the various fields of historical inquiry. They will be taken in conjunction with “content” or “subject” history courses offered in the same semester. Students will do exercises which build analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Corequisites: Must be taken in conjunction with a 100-level HIST course chosen under advisement. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. As individual subjects are selected, each is assigned a letter (A-Z) which is affixed to the course number. Specific titles and course descriptions for special topics courses are available in the online class schedule.
