Semester Hours:3This course surveys the discipline of writing studies, providing a theoretical and historical background to the field. Students will explore theories of writing practices, from how writers compose to how writing constitutes identity. Through guided and scaffolded assignments, students will learn the core principles of knowledge in the discipline of Writing Studies as a multimodal discipline.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: WSC 001 and/or prior approval by the department chairperson. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
