SPED 308 - Concepts and Principles of Behavior Analysis Semester Hours: 3
Spring
This course is intended to provide students with an understanding of concepts of behavior analysis, which includes: operant extinction; resistance to extinction; stimulus control and the impact of stimulus discrimination; stimulus generalization; implications for the use of motivating operations and verbal operants will be reviewed, and examples will be discussed.
Special emphasis will be placed on the use of behavioral concepts within the classroom.
