JRNL 242 - Entertainment Journalism


Semester Hours: 3
Students will hone their ability to report, write and edit entertainment stories. The class will examine trends in entertainment journalism over the past century and students will take a critical look at some of the best contemporary writing. The business, ethical and legal sides of entertainment journalism will be considered. Students will write articles for newspapers, magazines, and online venues, covering entertainment/arts at various levels.
