NUR 130 - Fundamental Nursing Care of the AdultSemester Hours: 3 This course allows students to integrate and apply their scientific knowledge and experiences to improve patients’ health and wellness with commonly occurring medical-surgical problems in the acute care setting. This course emphasizes the use of the nursing process and in developing competence in providing and coordinating nursing care. The course includes clinical practicum to allow the student the opportunity to integrate theoretical concepts and clinical practice in diverse adult populations.
