NUR 413 - Doctoral Project: Project Implementation and Defense Semester Hours: 2
This course builds on the content and processes developed in prior DNP Project courses towards implementation. Students will share their journey of implementation and evaluation of the DNP project using a variety of communication modalities. In consultation with the DNP Project Advisor students will implement and evaluate the project. Students will continue to integrate and apply information from a variety of areas to demonstrate expertise in an advanced specialty within nursing practice. Students will continue to demonstrate synthesis of the DNP education and advanced nursing practice specialty which focuses on change that impacts healthcare outcomes either through direct or indirect care. The end result will be an executed project based on the principles of evidence-based practice that incorporates planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination concepts.
