WSC 113 - (AA) Resistance Writing: Ink and FireSemester Hours: 3 In this course, students will practice resistance through the act of writing. Students will write a series of personal narrative essays that act as a form of protest against injustices in the world. Some possible topics include: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, domestic violence, environmental issues, and animal abuse. Students will also read essays and discuss the writers’ pleas, voices, styles, and connections with their audience. Students will experience and make powerful, impactful writing.
