MUTH 190 - Musical Theater DirectionSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
This course is a full participation opportunity for students to direct skillful, compelling, and unified musical theatre solos, duets, and scenes by incorporating staging, character work, and text analysis.
Students will explore a variety of musical theatre librettos, with a focus on different styles. This course correlates with the Musical Theatre Performance class (MUTH 121 ), allowing the directors to work with various talented performers during each class session.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: DRAM 190. Not for Liberal Arts Credit.
