IB 159 - Cultural Differences in Global BusinessSemester Hours: 3 This course provides an in-depth review of understanding different cultures and doing business in culturally diverse environments. Practical information needed to gain a competitive advantage for conducting business in a global environment, i.e., analyzing differences in communication, ethics, negotiation, leadership, and motivation across cultures, is outlined. Specific analyses of doing business in various regions (the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, East Asia, Europe, etc.) of the world are surveyed.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: IB 150 and junior class standing.
