HIST 157 - History of LaborSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
A survey of the history of work and workers: social and economic forces are interacting with changes in technology to shape changes in the structure of work and the workplace and the composition of the workforce. Special attention is given to the rise of the labor movement, the emergence of labor leaders, and the impact of technological developments on the organization of work.
