ITAL 111 - Grammar Review & New ConceptsSemester Hours: 1-3 Periodically
Thorough review and refinement of the student’s knowledge of Italian grammar and structure. Systematic exercises and explanations, the contrastive grammar of English and Italian, and illustrative analyses of reading passages. Topics include past tenses, object, and relative pronouns, tenses, and uses of the subjunctive.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Completion of ITAL 003 or higher, or equivalent placement score, or permission of instructor.
Course may be repeated for a total not to exceed 6 semester hours provided that the material changes.
