MGT 110 - Introduction to Operations and Supply Chain ManagementSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
Management of the operations function of an organization. Topics covered include operations system design, product and service design, capacity planning, project management, supply chain management, quality management, demand management and inventory management, as well as usage of software applications. In addition, corporate social responsibility and sustainability are also discussed with a focus on how operations managers contribute to sustainability through managing business operations.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BAN 001 , MGT 101 , IT 001 , IT 015 , and BBA 001 or BBA 002 ; junior class standing or above. (Students who have completed 58 s.h. or above may seek a class standing waiver from the department chairperson.)
