CT 165 - Methods and Materials in Teaching the Bilingual LearnerSemester Hours: 3
Once a year
Designed to prepare students to teach K-12 children in a mixed cultural group.
Motivation and degree of acculturalization are analyzed. Suitable materials and
teaching strategies are included. Field placements in bilingual settings appropriate
to major levels of interest are required.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Students must be registered in an elementary or secondary provisional certification
sequence.
