RTVF 027 - Introductory Film ProductionSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
This course is designed for students interested in learning filmmaking basics and exploring their creativity through visual storytelling. Through this immersive class, you can conceive and develop three concise scripts, experiencing the entire journey from inception to completion. The course will provide expert guidance throughout the pre-production (planning), production (shooting), and post-production (editing) phases. Key concepts from RTVF 10, such as mise-en-scene, cinematography, and visual composition, will be brought to life through the practical application of camera techniques, lighting, and non-linear editing tools.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: RTVF 010 . Admission to class by permission of department. Lab fees additional.
