This advanced filmmaking course invites you to develop an 8-minute film in a collaborative environment that covers script and visual development. You will dive deeply into character and story development while learning advanced lighting and sound techniques using the latest cinema cameras. An introduction to the Foley studio will enhance your understanding of sound design, enabling you to craft unique soundscapes for your film. The course encourages the formation of student crews to facilitate collaboration in bringing the final film project to life. So, are you ready? Lights, camera, action!
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: RTVF 027 . Admission to class by permission of department. Students are required to be available for production and laboratory time beyond the scheduled class time. Equipment is provided but students will have expenses for film and processing. Lab fees additional.
