To do this, the class will focus on the ways reality-based social media and popular culture content influence our understanding of identity, culture, and society. Subjects related to postmodernity, telepresence, interpersonal relationships, and self-performance will be covered in an attempt to help students understand the relationship between media, reality, and “reality.”
