NAP 204 - Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics of Anesthesia Semester Hours: 2 The course allows the student to gain an extensive understanding of the synergic relationship of the principles of anesthesiology as it relates to the scientific foundations of chemistry, biochemistry, and physics. The student will gain an understanding of the clinical relevance of these sciences and how they apply in anesthesia equipment and patient safety in the operating room. Anesthesia delivery systems and their components will be analyzed and explored. This course is foundational in nature and will help the student prepare for upcoming clinical anesthesia management courses.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Admission into CRNA program.
