NUR 252B - FNP II: Care of the Infant, Child, Adolescent and their Families Semester Hours: 3 This is a precepted clinical practicum in primary care pediatrics that will provide opportunities for learning the broad spectrum of common infant, child, and adolescent health care problems. A precepted clinical practicum in primary care will provide opportunities for learning the broad spectrum of neonatal, common infant, child, and adolescent health care problems. An interprofessional faculty will provide quality, safe, holistic, scientifically sound, and patient-centered care to assist pediatric patients and their families to better manage their health in changing healthcare environments. An intensive advanced skill lab and simulation are specifically placed during the semester to build skills during the practicum. Clinical placements will reflect the community needs, many of which are from underserved populations.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: NUR 251A , NUR 251B ; Grading is mandatory Pass/Fail.
