SPED 347 - Developing Behavioral Interventions Semester Hours: 3 This course is intended to provide students with an understanding of developing behavioral interventions. Students will explore a variety of topics related to developing behavioral interventions including the use of antecedent-based interventions, replacing behavior, reacting to challenging behavior, and generalization and maintenance of behavior change. The course will focus on the development of a behavior intervention plan. Students will learn how to create a datasheet, collect and analyze data related to student behavior. The matching function of behavior to intervention will be reviewed. Ethical considerations in behavior intervention planning will be discussed throughout the course
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: SPED 247 and SPED 259.
