DPT 542 - Clinical Integration II

Clinical Integration II is the second of five clinical full-time supervised clinical experiences. Clinical Integration II consists of six (6) weeks of full-time clinical internship in a clinical environment. This clinical internship is designed to integrate and apply academic preparation in the clinical setting and further refine and enhance students’ clinical skills. This clinical course cultivates the development, application, and analysis of physical therapy knowledge, skills, and behaviors appropriate to patient and practice management. Students will have the opportunity to practice more comprehensive and complex evaluation, treatment planning, and intervention skills that are appropriate for their development and progression at that juncture of the program.
