LAW 2833 - Ethical Problems in Federal Tax Practice This seminar addresses the legal and ethical obligations of tax lawyers serving in different roles, including return preparer, audit representative, litigator, planner, negotiator, ruling seeker, tax policy commentator and government lawyer. Students draft memoranda on the application of ethical standards to tax lawyers in varying circumstances.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite or co-requisite: Federal Income Taxation of Individuals.
This course can be used to satisfy the Professional Responsibility Requirement.
