LAW 2957 - Law and Medicine: Cooperative Professionalism This course is the academic component of the Hofstra|Northwell Medical-Legal Partnership for all students except those electing to concentrate on the housing work of the MLP. This course introduces students to social determinants of health, which correlate with health disparities, and examines legal responses to these issues. Specifically, students will be exposed to the core practice areas covered by the MLP, including immigration law, education law, disability discrimination law, and others.
