TAX 257 A-Z - Seminar: Special Topics in Taxation

An advanced in-depth treatment of special topics. Current topics are explored through a variety of methods, such as lectures, projects and case studies.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Any prerequisites as stated in the course schedule. Open only to matriculated graduate students in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and in other Schools at Hofstra where appropriate. See specific program requirements. As individual subjects are selected, each is assigned a letter (A-Z) which is affixed to the course number. Specific titles and course descriptions for special topics courses are available in the online class schedule. Students may take up to two of these courses to fulfill their major requirements so long as each seminar has a different letter designation. Students should seek advisement from the Department of Accounting before registering for this course to make certain it will count toward their degree requirements.
