DPT 539 - Advanced Electives: Advanced Oncology Semester Hours: 1 Advanced electives subjects are chosen from topics/subjects offered by the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. The Advanced Oncology elective is for students who have a passion and interest in working in oncology care and wants to continue to expand their clinical, didactic, and critical decision-making for the cancer survivor. This course prepares students for examination, evaluation, intervention, coordination of care, and discharge planning for the cancer survivor across the lifespan and continuum of care.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Prerequisites for this course include all preceding coursework in the curriculum. Any exceptions require approval from the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director.
