HIST 113 - War and Peace in the Age of Empire

This course examines war, diplomacy, revolution, and empire in 19th-century Europe. The rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte and France’s first continental empire; development of British, French, Russian, Spanish, and other European colonial powers.
