PHYS 157 - Applied Physics Laboratory I

This hands-on laboratory explores techniques in the fabrication of technical equipment. Students will learn to operate various machine tools such as lathes and milling machines, examine material properties including carbon steel, and will build a working electronic device. Mini-lectures followed by hands-on labs. Students will make an oral presentation of their results.
