MASS 138 - Food Media

Semester Hours: 3
Since ancient times, food has been a cornerstone of cultures worldwide. Food is a medium of communication with food serving to communicate meaning The relationship of media and food also media of food which includes cookbooks, photography, films, television, news coverage, blogs, and social media, all of which will be examined.This course will explore how food, culture, and media converge to both reflect and influence society.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MASS 001  or permission of instructor.
