NUR 109L - Basic Health Assessment and Practicum (Lab)Semester Hours: 0 This course provides the students with the knowledge and skill necessary to perform a basic health assessment utilizing the skills of interviewing, history taking, inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation encompassing a multicultural society. Critical analysis and clinical decision-making are emphasized to identify risk factors for actual or potential alterations in health throughout the life span. The course also focuses on differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings when conducting a head-to-toe physical examination.
