PHYS 121 - Intermediate Physics LaboratorySemester Hours: 1 Laboratory class concerning the measurement of the physical constants; atomic spectra; diffraction; electron charge/mass ratio; other classic and modern experiments. Students will learn skills about designing experiments, making measurements, and error analysis and propagation. Students will make an oral presentation of their results. (3 hours laboratory exercises.)
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Satisfies the intermediate/advanced laboratory requirement. It is recommended to take PHYS 118A concurrently or as a pre-requisite, if possible.
