NUR 134C - Care of Individuals and Communities with Behavioral Health Disorders (Clinical)

This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the care of psychiatric populations across the lifespan. Students will apply theories and implement evidence-based care for clients with psychiatric/mental health issues, including psychosocial concepts; cultural, ethical, and legal influences; and wellness of individuals and family groups. Development of a professional role in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
