PSY 053 - Lifespan DevelopmentSemester Hours: 3 This class is an introduction to a multidisciplinary field known as Developmental Science. Developmental Science covers physical, cognitive, and socioemotional changes in humans from prenatal conception through death. This course is primarily meant as a single-course introduction to human development for students headed to a subfield that uses the facts and insights of developmental psychology but is a different field (e.g., health science, nursing, physical education, physical therapy). It can also serve as an elective for psychology majors or minors. You cannot receive credit for both this course and Child Development (PSY 153).
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PSY 001 or PSY 001A. Credit is given for this course or PSY 153.
