FIN 307 - Consulting Research Project Under the supervision of an instructor and working singularly or in a small group,
students are assigned to a client organization for one semester. The students
and the client organization to which they are assigned will identify the client’s
specific problems and objectives. Students design and complete one or more integrative
consulting projects involving various business principles and conduct research.
A written consulting report and an oral presentation are made to a faculty committee
and the senior management of the organization.
Prerequisites & Notes Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, completion of all core competency courses, 21
s.h. of advanced core courses or above (including QM 210, IB 219†, and at least
6 s.h. of the required 15 s.h. in the areas of concentration), and permission
of the Graduate Programs Office and the department chairperson. Same as ACCT 307,
BCIS 307, IB 307, MGT 307, MKT 307.
Credits: 3 s.h.
