HIST 177 - Special Studies in History: The Cold War and the War on Terror: Social, Economic and Historical PerspectivesSemester Hours: 3 Key topics include, the rise of the military/industrial complex during
the Cold War, an analysis of why economic conversion failed and
resurgence of militarism in the 21st century. Major attention will be
devoted to “The War on Terror” and the prospects of building collective
security.
