SPCH 272 - Special Topics Seminar: Medical Speech PathologySemester Hours: 1 This course will familiarize students with terminology, procedures, and
protocols used in medical settings. The role of the speech-language
pathologist when working with medical compromised individuals will be
explored. Topics include: current health care directives, tracheotomy,
medical ventilation, pharmacology, and the continuum of medical care.
