AVF 100 - Principles of Nonlinear Digital EditingSemester Hours: 3 A post-production film and video course introducing students to the
theories and concepts of nonlinear digital editing using the Avid Media
Composer and/or other computer-based systems. Through screenings,
lectures, discussions and demonstrations, students learn basic editing
concepts and styles and methods of accomplishing various editing tasks.
Prerequisites & Course Notes: AVF 26 or 47. No liberal arts credit. Admission to class by permission of department. Lab fees additional.
